CHRONIQUE: THE JOURNAL OF CHIVALRY
From 1992 until about 1997, we grew the tournament companies movement through a non-profit publication, Chronique: the Journal of Chivalry. It was designed to spur discussion, revolving around articles, reviews, and a series of questions to which readers were invited to respond. The mission was thus to bridge the historical record with the growing tournament community. The journal enjoyed wide support, at least within the SCA and the young Tournament Companies. It chronicled many of the tournaments from the early days, and tried to provide inspiration for the development of deeds of arms that encouraged chivalric conduct, prowess and authentic presentation.

More and more functions of the Journal were taken by a growing online resource, the Tournaments, Knighthood & Chivalry Resource Library (KCT), which ran until 2006, when it was hacked and destroyed. Today some of these functions are done via social media, but the archive below may provide inspiration to new tourneyers or fond reminisces for those who were there.
